What is IV Hydration therapy?
Intravenous (IV) hydration therapy is a procedure in which electrolytes, vitamins and minerals are administered through an IV infusion.
How is this beneficial to you?
Vitamins taken daily by mouth go through many processes to be broken down and absorbed by the body. After these processes, your body will only absorb about 10% of the vitamin. IV hydration therapy allows 100% absorption of vitamins, amino acids and other minerals as they are delivered directly to the blood stream.
How is IV hydration therapy different from oral supplements?
